4.1 Accessible content
The following content and functions are implemented barrier-free in accordance with the applicable standards:
- Responsive design that enables a fundamentally flexible display on different end devices
- Standardised and consistent navigation structure on all pages
- Form fields with labels that are largely accessible
4.2 Non-accessible content
Some of the content on this website is not yet fully accessible. The following points could only be implemented to a limited extent or not yet.
Reason:
The complete implementation of accessibility would currently represent a disproportionate burden. The following aspects in particular are affected:
- Inconsistently structured HTML code with semantically correct headings, lists and tables
- Missing or incomplete alternative texts for graphics and images
- Inconsistently meaningful link texts that do not clearly convey the context
- Limited keyboard operability of individual elements (e.g. interactive sliders or integrated maps). Limited keyboard operability of individual elements (e.g. interactive sliders or integrated map modules)
- Insufficiently visible keyboard focus when navigating with the keyboard
- Limited compatibility with screen readers, especially with more complex content
- Insufficient colour and contrast ratios for certain design elements
- Missing jump labels for quick navigation within the page structure
- Non-accessible older PDF documents
- Integrated third-party content (e.g. maps) whose accessibility is beyond our control
The Caritas Association for the Diocese of Magdeburg e.V. endeavours to eliminate the remaining barriers in a timely manner
